Ave Maria Town Built in 2007

Two investors, one who made his money with Dominos Pizza, built a university and then carried on to build a $36 million church.  It has bent steel beams and the artist is still working on the marble.  See pics.  Everything is brand new and golf courses at the entrance to town.  They received quasi parish status as the Catholic church did not want to set a precedence that anyone can build a church.  Never heard of quasi status.  They originally called it an oratory because it did not have full status of a church.  Lots of tile honouring or in memory of sponsors etc.  There is also in the front square, piazza, a tile for dominos.  They modeled the chandeliers after a chandelier that hangs in the mansion of the man who started Walmarts?????     We took our bikes and toured the town.
