BIG SCRUB
Ocala National Forest's sand pine ecosystem is world's largest
President Teddy Roosevelt understood the value of the Ocala National Forest's "Big Scrub." A hundred years ago, on Nov. 24, 1908, he signed a bill formally establishing the Forest.
