Live Oak trees stay green all year long and the Spanish Moss hang majestically in the sun!
Just look at he age of these oak trees! If they could speak ...... stories of the Confederates and the Union soldiers. Did you know that Sherman gave Savannah as a Christmas present to Abe Lincoln on Dec. 22, 1864. He was burning everything in his pathway but Savannah was so beautiful!
:)This is my cousin, Meredith at her gallery where she has her jewelry in Savannah! She is with her lovely Sophie. Both are sweet Georgia peaches in our mind. Thanks for a lovely time together, Meredith and for suggesting the best place to hear jazz music. We really did enjoy our time in Savannah, Georgia.
